About us

Salzhafen Trading House is a trading house based at Salzhafen in The Sudmark. The company was founded on 23 January 1972 by Helga Sunek and has traded for 54 years.

At Salzhafen Trading House we believe in doing one thing well. That thing is salt, tallow, tar and colonial goods, and we have done it at Salzhafen since our founding.

Our founder. Helga Sunek, accountant, was born at Sandfeld on 29 October 1921 and died on 3 January 1991.

Our history

The company's books have been kept at Chapel Quay since the registered office was fixed there, and the timeline below is compiled from them and from the press.
